Thoughts of a middle aged man…..23 March 2013

We have just arrived home after dinner with new friends Danielle and Scott, Danielle works with Brian and Scott is her husband. An extremely pleasant evening, a lovely meal at Lickerish on Semaphore Road, lots of laughs, a great night out. We have already made plans for the next time.

Before dinner Brian and I went down to the beachfront to watch the Queen Mary 2 leave from Outer Harbor, what a magnificent ship, although it did not look as big as it seemed on television. One thing I did notice was that there did not seem to be enough lifeboats for all on board, not my problem, I am safe and dry, cruising is not my thing.

This afternoon Brian and I popped into an open inspection a bit further down the Esplanade from our home, a beautiful 7 bedroom, 4 bathroom home for a cool $1.8 million. Brian’s dream home, a pool in the back, loads of storage, an all round magnificent home. Dream on Dear.

Last night was not exactly the dream start to the AFL season that the Adelaide Crows wanted, shake the cobwebs off guys and come out fighting in a couple of weeks. Still they were not annihilated, it really only blew out in the last few minutes, just took the metal off the pedal in the last quarter guys, onwards and upwards.

That’s it for tonight. Goodnight and thank you for reading.
